Project Description
On behalf of The Nature Conservancy, CEI conducted investigations to prioritize sites for wetland restoration within the Mill River watershed. This project included site screening using the Duck-Pensaukee model. CEI further prioritized sites through GIS analyses and field investigations of soils, vegetation, connectivity to existing wetlands, and other criteria. High-resolution remote sensing imagery and topography was obtained via sUAS to support vegetation community mapping and development of future wetland restoration design plans.
