Project Description
CEI worked with the Town of Scituate, Massachusetts to review and provide construction oversight of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority Expansion Project for the Greenbush rail line and commuter layover station recently completed. CEI served as the Town’s representative in coordinating with the design-build team. Services included design overview, inspection, environmental remediation and resolution of sound wall design concerns. Challenges included an aggressive project schedule, utility coordination, and permitting process complicated by design of a retaining wall within a resource area.
