Project Description
Comprehensive Environmental Inc. (CEI) is providing On Call Engineering Services to Eversource Energy as part of its resiliency program.
In order to assure access to its main power lines in times of disaster or inclement weather, Eversource is upgrading its access roads to withstand 100 year storm events.
Eversource is installing pre-cast concrete bridges that can withstand heavy equipment loads for repair and maintenance vehicles.
In addition, the use of bridges is more environmentally friendly with little, if any, wetlands impacts since the bridges span water ways and environmentally sensitive areas.
CEI has completed 12 bridge sites in 2019 and 30 sites are planned for 2020.
