How To Remove Manganese From Drinking Water

Currently, three categories of treatment technologies have been shown to be effective at removal of manganese from drinking water: chemical addition, aeration, and filtration. Green sand filters have been shown to be the most effective at removal. Well maintenance should also be considered when treatment for manganese contamination is being considered.
