CEI Presents on Resilient Stormwater BMPs
May 11th, 2018
As part of a Specialty Conference Series, the New England Water Environment Association (NEWEA) hosted a Stormwater Specialty Conference & Exhibit: "Enhancing Stormwater Resilience in the Built Environment". At this technical conference, CEI's own Nick Cristofori, P.E. gave an informative presentation on the Design and Construction of Resilient Stormwater BMPs to Address Climate Change and Improve Water Quality.
During a session on Infrastructure Engineering and Design with Resilience in Mind, Nick detailed a multifaceted approach that CEI and the town of Yarmouth, Massachusetts have implemented as part of two grant programs addressing Climate Change Resiliency and Coastal Pollutant Remediation. Nick's presentation also highlighted both recent and upcoming projects which identified solutions and strategies for designing and constructing various stormwater BMPs.
