Cut Costs with Wastewater Services

Inflow and Infiltration (I/I) can be problematic, long-term issues that must be dealt with to reduce treatment costs, yet many communities find I/I to be painfully persistent. CEI has developed a new, more cost-effective method to locate high flow areas at a lesser cost. The techniques we employ can save time and money and provide a more focused approach to resolving I/I issues.

CEI has done extensive work in Sewer System Evaluation Surveys (SSES) and Infiltration Inflow (I/I) studies, followed by sewer rehabilitation with significant savings. Comprehensive wastewater planning is another area where the firm has substantial expertise. Our approach emphasizes cost-effectiveness by using centralized sewers only where really needed and using less expensive alternative systems elsewhere.

Our areas of expertise include:

  • Sewer Rehabilitation
  • SSES and I/I Studies
  • Wastewater Treatment Design and Troubleshooting
  • Sewer and Pump Station Design
  • Integrated Water Resources Managment Planning
  • Facilities Planning
  • Comprehensive Wastewater Facilities Planning
  • CSO Modeling, Design, Sampling and Analysis
  • Growth and Connection Controls
  • Innovative or Decentralized System Design
  • Permitting
  • Funding Procurement and Administration
  • Sewer and CSO Construction Services
